Walls covered in rare Antique Frames dating from the early 17th century through the 20th century; Fine Art from around the world showcasing a myriad of styles; an antique painted carousel rooster on a stand; an antique heavily carved chair; an original still life that hung in the Adolphus hotel for years – all this and more are available at William Johnson Fine Art inside LOST … again.

Bill spent hours explaining the process used to apply gold leaf to the antique frames – Water Gilding. He went around the globe explaining Old & New World art he had acquired from Europe, France, The Netherlands, Italy, Great Britain & America. He pointed out the various periods of art represented – from architectural to pre-Raphael to contemporary. If you’re interested in fine works of art and the history behind them, Bill is the perfect Art Historian to welcome you into his world!

Some of my personal favorites include …

A solder sitting next to a fireplace talking to two women by François Charles Baude (French, 1880–1953).

A portrait of a lovely brunette by Guy Cambier of Brussels.

A landscape painting by Belgian Realist Painter, Frans Van Leemputten. Previously it hung in a prominent gallery in the Netherlands.

All of Italian born painter Lucio Ranucci works because of their vivid colors.

Mother & Child by contemporary artist Belle Golinko

My All Time Favorite is by a contemporary Uzbekistan artist – a portrait of 2 women using jewel tones.
